
Local Events On The National Holiday
The 4th of July is just around the corner! So you can make the most of the holiday, here are a few of the fun festivities going on in Brookfield.
- Parade: At 10:00 a.m., the 4th of July parade will kick off from Brookfield Central High School. Post along its route to enjoy the beautiful floats and celebrate your freedom with your local community. You can see the full parade route here.
- Ice Cream Social: After the parade, head to the Civic Plaza to be a part of the annual city-wide Ice Cream Social. You will not want to miss the ice cream, lemonade, flag raising ceremony, and other entertainment.
- Family Fest: From 6:00-9:00 p.m., Mitchell Park will come alive with fames and activities that are great for the whole family. There will be food, live music, magic, comedy, bouncing inflatables, free face painting, and more leading up to the fireworks.
- Fireworks: At 9:15 p.m., the fireworks display will begin from Mitchell Park. Get there early, as parking will be limited.
